We saw a small hawk on the ground in our back yard ( Hale Center, -- north of
Lubbock ) that I thought was a shark-shinned hawk BUT Small -- OK streaked
sides -- OK Brownish back - OK
no sideburns AND the breast was grayish, unmarked. ????
didn't get a good look when it flew but seemed NOT to have falcon-like wings.--
