Texbirders,
On the way home from work today, the Mexican Free-tailed Bat colony was
emerging from the I-35 bridge over McNeil Road about 6:15 pm on this warm,
winter evening. As spectacular as the bat emergence was, it was made even more
spectacular as a Red-tailed Hawk dived into the masses and successfully took a
bat.
