All - Typically, Snowy Owls are not branch-perchers, they are tree-toppers (and telephone poles, buildings, rock outcrop pings, etc.), mostly because they have no trees in the Arctic, and Snowys do not recognize them as potential perches. That, and the fact that her bird flew into the woods, leads me to speculate that it was more likely a Barn Owl. Still, a very cool sighting.
