Check the rare bird alert at rgvbirds.blogspot.com. There had been one at the
butterfly park near Mission and at the Bentsen office gardens. I looked briefly
for the latter the last two mornings but didn't see it. I did not spend long.
Another was at Resaca de la Palma but no recent reports.

Hi everyone,
My wife Sherron and I will be participating in the Rio Grande Birding
Festival this week. On our own, we'll try for the Northern Jacana at Estero
Llano Grande SP. We would appreciate any advice on where to find a Tropical
Parula in the valley.
