We spent our Black Friday where we needed to be, getting a healthy dose of
outdoors and birds. Hogan park is often full of surprises and a pair of
Lewis's Woodpecker certain fits that criteria. Before leaving the park we
located another LEWO stashing acorns in a tree on Redfern Drive near the
baseball fields.
Our search for Burrowing Owl was fruitless, but the Western Bluebirds,
Orange-crowned and Yellow-rumped Warblers made up for that.
