John Groves has had some phenomenal birds through the years, love his posting
from El Paso. Thanks for sharing his EBird post.

Texbirds,
With less than 10 accepted records for the state, I thought I'd share that
yet another Yellow-eyed Junco was documented in El Paso this fall. The first
was a one-day occurrence at a private residence in late September. This
recent one from yesterday, 17 October, can probably be refound from the
public roads at the Coronado Country Club.

Regardless of whether this recent one is chaseable or not, it is worth
keeping this species on your radar when birding in the Guadalupe, Davis, and
Chisos Mountains this fall and winter.
Good birding,
