Texbirders:For anyone searching for the Varied Thrush in Surfside on Monday.

Continuing rarity - spotted by Paul Michallef at about 5 pm in back yard of
cream-colored house with sign on front “Lily Bank 100 STANEK”, which is the
second house east of Seagull Avenue (can park on beach at end of this street);
the bird slowly moved NE through two more back yards just behind the vegetated
dune line, it then moved NW into a front yard along a low white fence, it spent
some time at parking slab puddles and under a pick-up truck, as we were leaving
it went to the back yard of the first house east of Seagull with the sign
“Thad’s Pad”; it stayed in shade almost the whole time on this hot afternoon.
