My niece recently went to check a Wood Duck box at a small pond near
Nacogdoches. This is what she found! Now we are curious about the one
differently colored, differently shaped egg...

Local birding pro David Wolf, who noticed it, said, "Possibly Hooded Merganser,
which is known to dump eggs in Wood Duck boxes, but I don’t know enough about
eggs to tell."

Any ideas?
