The wagtail is present approximately 1 mile upstream toward the dam. Turn right
at the first right turn entering the park and go to the last parking lot. Off
the right hand edge of the parking lot is a wide gravel path leading into the
woods. Follow that path to a bluff. From the bluff of red dirt, peering
straight ahead across the ravine, you can just barely see a trail in the woods
directly opposite you.
Descend the bluff to the right and then angle back up that hill to the left and
catch that trail and continue along the river. That will connect to a narrow
red dirt trail that will lead you straight to the group of people looking at
the Wagtail.
You will need those people to help you find a bird. It is not easy to find in
its current location.

Nina Rach texted that the Guerrero Park wagtail flew off upstream around 12:50
pm. I am not there. Not sure if it returned or not since then. It was
previously visible across the river from a high river bluff /cliff through an
open gate in a black chain link fence. 70 birders stood at 30.24487, -97.69801
to see it across the river on a low mud flat from about 8:50 to about 12:50.
Hopefully further updates available from those still there.
