Up to now (September 1 to be exact) I only saw 2cy, 3cy and 4cy LBBGs at
Quintana; from mid July.

On September 1 there were about 7 including one adult that just passed by
but never landed near me. This was an interesting LBBG - very dark and in
relatively very fresh plumage (something I do not see in other adults when
coming here at this part of the year). I am not going to suggest chance for
nominate fuscus race as without band nobody would accept that anyway. I am
not expecting discussion also as LBBGs are not too popular or their races
well known. Nobody seems really to know for sure from where all these LBBGs
keep coming to Texas and what race they belong to. But perhaps a few would
like to take a look.
