Thanks Petra for requesting people to respect the nesting birds.

David Newstead recently reported near Rockport that photographers have been
walking on nesting islands and creating many birds to leave their nests.

When adults leave their nests, this provides opportunity for gulls and grackles
to steal eggs and young as well as placing stress on eggs and young to the
weather.
