The Tropical Parula was again singing it's little heart out this early
morning from within the Forest Trail that runs behind the Dragonfly Pond,
making it easy for visitors to find it and get some great looks!! The trees
here at the center are starting to flush new leaves and it definitely looks
like spring is around the corner! Maybe the bird senses the breeding season
drawing near and is starting to sing for a mate, or maybe it's just happy
about the warm weather we've been getting lately.

P.S. This week the park grounds will be open 7:00am-6pm Monday through
Friday, but will be closed Saturday because of the Fiesta Edinburg event
being held at the Municipal Park. The park is always closed on Sundays.
