On iPhones (Settings/General/Keyboard/Text Replacement) allows you to set up
Shortcuts to replace with full name or any text. Handy and a good way to teach
yourself the 4 letter codes.
Example:
Shortcut: CAEG
Will produce Phrase: Cattle Egret

CAEG-Cattle Egret
BNST-Black-necked Stilt
SPSA- Spotted Sandpiper
BASA- Baird's Sandpiper
LBDO- Long-billed Dowitcher
This was on April 1 not on April 2. I guess my email didn't finally post
until this morning.
