Texbirders,
The broad-billed Hummingbird was seen around 9:45am Saturday 24 November
feeding in the shrimp plants near the building and in the shrimp plants a
litlte south of the building.

The transitional-plumaged, male Broad-billed Hummingbird showed briefly at
about
3:00 pm Friday afternoon. It was feeding for approx. 2 minutes in the shrimp
plants along the southeastern fenceline of Russ Pitman Park. We waited and
watched for an additional 30 minutes, but could not relocate the bird.

Also seen was a full adult male Calliope for about 5 minutes at 3:15pm in the
shrimp plants more central to the park.
