its been a long time since I've had the chance to look around this area.
Highlights for me were:
American Golden Plover - scattered in almost every exposed field around the
area. found a flock of over 100 on FM 1120 towards Kings Inn on the north side
of the road near standing water areas.
Upland Sandpiper - a few dozen found in the same areas as above.
Pectoral Sandpiper - only around 10 individuals also in the same areas above
Anhinga - a small kettle of around 250 birds seen above
Long-billed Curlew - a single flock of around 80 birds along intersection of FM
771 and FM 2510
On the way home to San Antonio there were dozens of Swainson's Hawks, but found
one beautiful dark morph Swainson's Hawk kiting off of Hwy 77 south of Robstown
