we are happy to report, that this morning the first two male
Golden Cheeked Warblers were singing in the Bear Springs Blossom canyon.

Our Vice president reported a few days ago, that on his preserve in the
Texas Hill Country
the first Golden Cheeked Warblers have arrived too.
This is the earliest (over 3 weeks earlier than ever before) the golden
cheeked bird
has arrived from his winter vacation in Central America.
We hope he can find enough to eat, our oaks and cherries have still no
leaves,
only the Redbuds are blooming.
