Dos Vacas Muertes also became very active late Sunday morning. There were three
Blue Winged Warblers, two Tennessee, a male American Redstart, and a Worm
Eating warbler all in the brush alongside the shell road. The drips held many
Orchard Orioles, and few Baltimore Orioles, White Eyed Vireo, Black and White
and a Common Yellowthroat. There were several Northern Parulas there Friday and
Saturday but they seemed to have moved on.

My best locations at Lafitte's were: 1) the oak tree across the street, and
just outside the Northwest entrance. It included Balckburnian Warblers and
Cedar Waxwing. The Bottle Brush just outside the North entrance included many
Orchard Orioles, Ruby Throated Hummingbirds, and one Prothonotary Warbler.
Can't wait for next weekend!

Had about 40 Franklin's gull by Woody's biker bar in Galveston. They were in
the pond on the left. They were with a mixed flock of laughing, herring, and
ring-billed gull. Also to note, there are four species of plover; Blackbellied,
piping, Semi-palmated, and snowy.
At Lafitte's cove I racked up a respectable 11 warblers. Most notable of which
were the hoards of blue wings, two or three blackburnian, and a brewsters
warbler! My first ever!
