That‘s some great birds Bob. The godwit strikes me as a little robust. Don’t
suppose you noted the color of the underwing when it flew?

Texbirders:
We had a really good day birding in Matagorda County today, despite some wind
and drizzle. The highlights at Matagorda Beach were:
- Late Wilson's Plover
- Late Purple Martin
- 20 gray Red Knots
- A couple of Frigatebirds

At the Hanson / CR 383 Turf Farm there were:
- A couple of late and out of range American Golden-Plovers mixed in with
several hundred BBPLs
- A very lost and late Hudsonian Godwit. eBird shows only 5 previous Fall
records scattered around the state.

Good birding!
