[texbirds] Magnificent Frigatebirds

Howdy Texbirders,
After being out of state for over a month, took the Galveston Ferry this
afternoon and counted 22 Magnificent Frigatebirds while waiting to get on the
ferry. Then driving the coast down to Surfside Beach yielded more of these
"magnificent" birds. Found 5 species of plovers at Rollover Pass. Snowy,
Piping, Semipalmated, Wilson's and Killdeer.
OK, excited to get back to Estero and the "valley" to see some of those
rarities that have showed up since I have been away. (Short-tailed Hawk would
be a lifer for me.)
