On Saturday (30 September 2017) I spend most of the day in Lynn County -
following 5-6 days of cloudy skies, variable winds from the south, and
intermittent rain which created hope for migrant songbirds.
My hopes were rewarded, particularly with large numbers of Nashville
Warblers and a host of mostly 'western' migrants.

It was looking to clear overnight and I figured all of the goodies would be
on their way south - in time to clear Crosby County before my first October
visit - but it was nice to have them around for the day.
