[texbirds] Hooded Merg, Woodcock, Kittiwake, LT Duck all YES!!

Hi, all!
Just a quick note to get the word out that several Valley rarities are
still being seen: today (Christmas Eve) Pat, Marie, and I had the male Hooded
Merganser at Dixieland Park, the Kittiwake at the SPI jetty (on the beach
to the left of the jetty), the Woodcock in Pam and Reid's side yard, the
Long-tailed Duck at the Donna Reservoir, plus two additional year birds for
me: a Common Loon in Laguna Madre off the Convention Centre boardwalk, and
a Sedge Wren in the stuff behind the Convention Center (the mudflat
overlook)!
Full report and pictures probably won't get out until tomorrow--we had a
dawn-to-dusk day today! But what a day--WOO HOO! :-)
