I spent close to eleven hours in Hockley County yesterday and, thanks to
winds that were not forecast as of Saturday night, things were not as
kicking, songbird migrant-wise, as I would have hoped. I still did fairly
well, with a bird list of 97 species by the end of the day but winds kept
critters down, making for abysmal photography conditions.
