Bahia Grande tour bird count this morning was a little low with 41species, but still managed to provide excellent looks at a pair of Aplomado Falcon and 2 separate pairs of Chihuahuan Raven. The wind was blowing up the black neck feathers to reveal the snowy white underneath that gave them their former name of White-necked Raven. Another big surprise was the flyover of a Groove-billed Ani on Hwy 100 just outside the tower gate. Tours are beginning to fill up so call for reservations. 956-748-3708 X111.
