Hot afternoon bird walk was rewarded with Black-headed Grosbeak coming to
water at the kiosk at the front of the Visitor Center.
Crimson-collared Grosbeak was reported again this morning, but when I left
shortly after 3, she had not made an appearance for the afternoon crowd.
Bird tours seven days a week alternating between Laguna Atascosa
and Bahia Grande
Habitat tours around the fresh water lake every afternoon at 1 PM and twice
on Saturday. Reservations required for both
