The sixty-first Freeport CBC on Sunday the 17th recorded 204 species.
Highlights of the count were Elegant Tern (bird of the count), Cory's
Shearwater (close runner-up), Glossy Ibis, two Yellow-breasted Chats, Great
Kiskadee, Prairie Warbler, threew Wood Storks, Pomarine Jaeger, Franklin's
Gull, Black-throated Gray Warbler, & Harris's Hawk.
Many thanks to the participants & particularly the ten area leaders who shared
an almost perfect day of weather.
