I am going to be assisting the Falcon Point Ranch with wetland management and
will be doing periodic bird surveys.
Since we were primarily inspecting wetlands, I did not have time to do any
serious birding during the two hours I was there.
Top birds for the day were 9 Whooping Cranes. Lots of waterfowl were present
and a variety of shorebirds.
More reports will be forthcoming through the spring.
