Hi, all!
Next Saturday's Birder Patrol trip will be centered around the
Hidalgo/Cameron County Line, including La Feria Nature Park, Tiocano Lake,
Sugarhouse Pond, and the "Mountain Bluebird Spot"; King Rail has also been
reported recently at La Feria, so we hope to at least hear this elusive guy!
There's a possibility of getting into a normally-closed reservoir where
American Bitterns were seen during the Harlingen CBC.
The meeting place and time is the La Feria Whataburger at 7:30 (earlier if
you plan on eating there :)). Cost is $5.00/person, and all proceeds go to
the educational endeavors of the Arroyo Colorado Audubon Society.
