Lauren Lescure from Thomas Moore Feed will be leading a field trip at Warbler
Woods Bird Sanctuary May 8th at 8 AM (Rainday: May 9th). Lauren graduated from
Texas A&M in December 2013 with a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences.
She fell in love with birds in her ornithology class and has worked with birds
in the rainforest of Peru and on a seabird island off the coast of Maine. In
between birding she works at Thomas Moore Feed as their bird specialist. Thomas
Moore Feed worked with Susan and Warbler Woods to create their initial bird
seed line. They continue to help Susanâs bird sanctuary by donating their
seed to help fill her feeders as well as donating supplies and labor for one of
their bird blinds.
