If you plan to attend the Dallas Hot Spots field trip during the upcoming
TOS meeting in January, please register for this specific field trip by
December 23rd. This is required in order to gain access to Southside
Wastewater Treatment Plant portion of the trip. Since 911, access to this
birdy location has been very restricted. A list of trip participants,
including their contact info (name, address, phone number, email address),
must be provided to the Dallas Water Utilities well in advance of the trip
to ensure smooth access during the field trip. This location is a
significant portion of the overall field trip. PLEASE NOTE: Registration
for this specific trip will end on December 23rd.
Please note that this trip will also cover several other very productive
locations near Dallas and is expected to produce a large total species count
and potential winter rarities.
