Susan, The circulation around Isaac on the west side of the storm pulls down upper level winds from the north and the birds that ride those winds. The following were seen at my bird pond or in the trees all w/in a 30 minute time span: Black & White Warbler 1 Nashville Warbler 2 Yellow Warbler 7 [all bathing together!] Blue Gray Gnatcatcher 1 Ruby Throated Hummer 3 Baltimore Oriole 3 [the male finally showed up!!] Vireo; possibly a Warbling? I could not relocate L And the usuals: Cardinals 10 House Finch 6 [ 5 newly fledged] Bewick Wren 1 Brown Thrasher 1 Doves & Jays Downey WP 2 Mississippi Kite overhead 1 And then earlier on my neighborhood walk I confirmed [w/ optics] a pair of Kestrels that I saw last week [w/o optics], and I also saw a Green Heron.
