Ordinarily I would make this post private, but you have definitely exceeded
the bounds of civility.
Dr. Arnold's post to you was informative and educational to anyone who was
interested in learning, and was not in the least dismissive of your
questions.
His response to you was also private, and you chose to make it public.
I am one of hundreds, if not thousands, who have benefited from Dr.
Arnold's gentle and enlightening counsel through the years.
I suspect that you have now alienated a LOT of folks, and have cut yourself
off from future assistance. I know I shall never again offer any private
assistance to you.

What gave you the idea that I was trying provide a 'specimen'? I put
this link up to try and get confirmation, or refutation of my ID
assumption. I really don't care about your vocalizations preference, I
am sure they are diagnostic, but I am almost completely deaf so they
have no use for me. I do thank you for your thoughts on the matter,
but you failed to give an opinion on this particular bird.

First, there is a specimen of Tropical Kingbird for Galveston Island,
Second, the use of Kevin diagnostic characters for field ID is
questionable in my opinion; photos may be a different story, but I
sure would use them with caution. I still prefer to have a record
documented by vocalizations.

Based on the bill size and shape, and the tail feathers as shown
in Mary

these photos of this spring(mid April) is a Tropical Kingbird
