Many will be wondering about the report on their eBird needs list of a
Connecticut Warbler this morning from Lafitte's Cove in Galveston. Â I have
asked for more information beyond what was put in the notes - "complete bold
eyering, large bill, gray hood, dull yellow underside". Â That is all I know
for now. Â I can tell you that Connecticut Warbler is among the (if not THE)
latest migrating North American warbler and this sighting is about a month
earlier than one would be expected. Â There are 12 accepted records for TX.
