I feel certain the thrush is no longer here. Rarities here never seem to stick
around long, and it's so far for birders to come. The other species that I
know are here have begun to get active, but no thrush, except one Hermit
Thrush. Bummer!

I know quite a few of you are en route to see the Varied Thrush. The cold front
has arrived, and it's windy too. I haven't seen hardly any birds yet this
morning. I don't know if the thrush is still here or not. The timing of this
front is terrible...right at the weekend when people are able to get off work
and head this way. If I see the thrush I'll post right away. I'm not optimistic
at this point.
