[texbirds] Brazoria NWR Bald Eagles

Made a quick stop in at Brazoria NWR this afternoon.
Lots of ducks and Coots on Olney Pond.
A N. Harrier had caught a coot and was trying to eat it but was harassed by
two other harriers. I watched for a while and then looked up to see an
adult Bald Eagle come gliding in eyeballing the coot. It made three passes
before it snatched up the coot carcass then flew off to a more secure
location to eat the rest. Then an immature eagle came in to help finish it
off.after which they both were off and away.
It was a nice show.
