Good Afternoon Everyone! The fog posed an interesting challenge this morning with birding. It started off with a lesson on identifying Great Kiskadees by their call. The Nature Center had many of the usual suspects, but we did miss the Clay-colored Thrush. The best birding this morning ending up being the Gardens at the Headquarters building, which is a great location for Long-billed and Curve-billed Thrashers, Olive Sparrows, and the White-eyed Vireos! Once the fog lifted several guests reported seeing the Black-Headed Grosbeak and Gray Hawks in the park.
