A few migrants continue to trickle through the county.
Fair numbers of Yellow, Tennessee and Nashville Warblers. A Chestnut-sided
brightened things up a little. Other than Warbling Vireos nothing else of
note in my local pecan patch.
Red-headed Woodpecker (very vocal) still at Alum Creek and PR1C.
My local Red-headed also put in one of its sporadic appearances in my yard
earlier in the week.
Bird of the day was a fly-by, calling Lesser Goldfinch over my yard, always
hard to come by in the county.
Phil - Smithville.
