This morning in downtown Bastrop (near Jefferson and Austin) I had a
very vocal Brown-crested Flycatcher.
Otherwise pretty slow warbler-wise - the front did not seem to drop much
down locally.
Also the past two days I have had a Red-headed Woodpecker on my property
(off Cottletown).
Sightings have massively increased in the county since the fire with the
habitat changes.
