[texbirds] Barrow's Goldeneye seen at 3pm today

Several people were looking fur the bird from approximately 9 am thus
morning. There were some possible sightings, including a photo that Rick
F. wanted to double check to confirm the ID on before posting. By 2 pm,
the bird had not been seen, so several of us went to explore other areas,
only to get a call at 3 pm to let us know the bird was present! We arrived
to find the bird in the cove with the reeds. All of us had checked this
cove through the day. Perhaps it was in the next cove to the right, behind
the houses. At any rate, we (including Dan Jones!) got first rate views!!
Photos were taken by several of us for confirmation.
