Check out the Friends of the Attwater Prairie Chicken web site and their
events- For sure their Boomers event in early April is a great opportunity to
see the birds. We went last year and the refuge set up observation places not
normally accessible to allow visitors to see them. Was not disappointed. Also
there are bird counts in Dec too.
