[texbirds] Amazon Kingfisher NO. Consolation prize: Painted Redstart

Texbirders,
As Mary reported the Amazon Kingfisher was a no-show this morning.
Myself and several others were there from before 7 am until I left at
10:15. There was a suspicious flyover of something resembling a kingfisher.
I left to try to get to the Brooke County rest area before the rain hit
in order to find the Painted Redstart. Harry Forbes from San Antonio,
who had left the Amazon site shortly before I did, beat me to the rest
area by about 10 minutes and had already spotted the Redstart. He
refound it,. and I had a brief look before it flew away. I explored the
southern end of the rest area for a few minutes and found it again,
getting great looks. Then the rain came.
