[techtalk] Long boot with SP2

Hi
Since installing SP2 my boot time is 20-30 secs longer, the
delay seems to be between first XP screen and the welcome
screen. Also shut down is 10-20 secs longer.
A quick google seems to suggest a defrag which I`ve done
several times now. Also most people have seen an improvement
in boot time!!!
I`ve tried to run bootvis but it just hangs (I`ve left it for 10 mins
"hanging". Does it perhaps need longer?)
Anyone have any suggestions?
