[TechAssist] update JVC XV-S60BK DVD deck display says "loading"constantly ,can't eject drawer

Searched the constant "load" symptom. JVC says it's IC509 (located on
the smaller PC board for the tray, underside, flat pack EEPROM.
(#SST39VF160-7CEK) and JVC shows it lists for $55.69. Are they nutz? Of
course the customer bailed. Add say $49.00 basic labor, some shipping
you got about $120.00.We all know thats a $5.00 chip...Tops. JVC parts
are soooo overpriced.
