I downloaded some datasheets, i have -10V and 5V present, i have -42.9V in on IC203, gives -32V out when the power switch is on (so it responds to that). I have 12V in on the 7807 IC, and the expected 7V out. I resoldered all flatcable connectors and ICs. What else is there to check? kind regards, Stefaan Van Slycken Van Slycken Elektro - Waasmunster, Belgium. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Tiberius Kraemer" <ty1k@xxxxxxxxx> To: <techassist@xxxxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Thursday, May 08, 2003 9:01 PM Subject: [TechAssist] Re: sony CDP-C345 cd-player dead Sorry Stefaan, I forgot to sign the instructions I just sent you. I have no schematic, started measuring around the power supply part, i can find 5V, 10V and 7V DC, those voltages are present. That's all the indications i see. No display, no mechanical movement, nothing moves. I can't find any fuses in this unit either. Any ideas? > > TIA > Stefaan Van Slycken > Van Slycken Elektro - Waasmunster, Belgium. > **************************************************************************** * > The Tech Address Book: > http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/contact.html > Add a Repair Tip Here, or Change/Remove your Email Address: > http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html > Lost Password: > http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Lost your Login Info?". > Email Archives: > //www.freelists.org/archives/techassist/ **************************************************************************** * The Tech Address Book: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/contact.html Add a Repair Tip Here, or Change/Remove your Email Address: http://www.tech-assist.org/secure/tip/main.html Lost Password: http://www.tech-assist.org and select "Lost your Login Info?".
