SYLVANIA SRT2027

Dead. Q571 Horiz Out Xstr Shorted Plus Resistors Burned

Replaced The Parts Listed Below. What Really Dogged Us Was The Fact That
Sears Had The Wrong Value For R574. They Listed It As A 1.5 Ohm But It Was
In Fact A 470 Ohm. So We Had This Thing Fixed The Whole Time! With The
Wrong Resistor The Unit Would Start But The Pix Was Skewed Way Off To The
Right.

Q571 Hot 2sd2634 We Subbed It With A 2sd1880
R 574 Metal Resistor 2w J 1.5 Ohm Rn02152ub001 Should Be 470 Ohm 2w
R 575 Metal Resistor 2w J 1.5k Ohm Rn02152zu001
C 571 Metallized Film Cap. 0.33uf Ct2d334f7001 Sub: 46-201184-3

SYLVANIA SRT2027

Jerry - Vision Video Labs, Inc

Replace C572 (.18uf/200v), C571 (.33uf/200v)

---------------------------------------------------------------

SYLVANIA SRT2027

Picture Too Wide : Update !

Jeff Stielau : 8/5/02 : Shoreline Electronics

C572 (.18uf/200v) Can Be Difficult To Find. Sears Has The Parts For These
Funai Chassis Sylvanias.
Part # Ct2e184ms041 About $6.00 Delivered.

Also....The New One Is A 250v Rating.....Probably Why The 200v Ones Failed.
