Look next to the jungle chip IC U1001.There is a small blue square "crystal" that is known to become intermittant. It is called the "32X horizontal " resonator and is the reference for the deflection oscillator.Had several do this. Mostly if watching it while shutting down, will see some jagged horizontal piecrusting just before. Location: Y4301 part#: 200210 Also look closely at one or two lytics next to it, sometimes also bad. Phil Bader Philip Bader Jan Phyl TV Inc. (estab. 1976) 3420 Recker Hwy.
