Check the HOT and the caps in the regultor circuit for starters also shorts on crt board. A chassis number would be helpful too. Press power switch horizontal oscillator screams. Power button will not shut off. Customer claimed her cockatiel was sitting on top of set when it failed. Figured bird droppings caused failure. Did not find any bird droppings in set. Seen similar symptom before?
