Phil, I had a similar experience with a 53" Zen Proj TV.a few weeks ago. I
replaced the sweep board and had trouble getting the green tube to track. It
would either be out of focus or not bright enough. I was able to find a
compromise that would work. The picture would get very bright on some scenes
and have a greenish cast once in awhile. I sent it home and two days later the
customer called and said the tv was going black but the sound remained. I
replaced the HV block, had the same symptom. Replaced the sweep board again that
fixed it. Also the green tube adjusted normally after replacing the board
again. You can't be sure of anything any more when it comes to parts. Paul

symptom,Keith?
The black screen or the flashing? And did turning down the brightness
seem to "help"?
