[TechAssist] Zenith 20", 1983 model, 9-181 main module, volume cuts out.

Sorry I don't have the model number for this one.  The volume will
disappear after several minutes or hours and no amount of tapping or
banging will bring back the sound.  If I raise the volume it will
finally come back on again.  I inspected the sound circuit for cold
solders and found none.  Any other ideas on this oldie but goodie?
