A long time ago we had a Tripp-Lite in for repair, back when they cost money. Batteries did not charge and a switching transistor was burned out. Replacing did not fix. Trip-lite sent us a circuit diagram after having us sign a confidentiality agreement and that let us find another bad part. Now it worked but the batteries only carried the load a few seconds. Now you can buy a whole power unit for about the cost of the batteries.
