I removed the lightbox. This one had no screws on the side and the floor of the PROJO with the wheels does not come with the lightbox. You still have to remove the screen and the LB comes out the front like the other Toshiba PROJO'S. There are 3 screws in the back and 6 screws in the front that hold the LB in. A quick guide to whether it will be removable or not is to look on the sides of the set. If there is a screw on each side where there normally is not--(because of essthetics--you know--looks) Then it will be removable. You'll have to remove the screen assembly. There will be six screws on the front of the LB outside of the speakers. The 2 screws on the sides--and remove the back cover of the set. I've found that it is easier to have two people pick up the mirror/main frame and slide or pull forward the light box. I did have a toshiba that had a shared schematic which said that it had a removable lightbox--and could find NO way of removing it. I was right--the schematic was wrong--they came out with a supplement that said the the larger model (of course the one that SHOULD have a RLB) did not have one. Essentially if you look at it from the front--the whole board with the speakers rolls out towards you.
